This year, Algarve's Summer Festival will be dedicated to the Summer Solstice. Held in beautiful Quinta do Lago, the Olympium Resort will be in charge for accommodating the attendants to the 2021's edition of the Summer Solstice Festival in Algarve.

The summer solstice or midsummer is the day of the year in which one of the Earths poles is the most near to the Sun in its whole trajectory. The result for those who live in tempearate zones is that it is the day of the year in which the sun goes down the latest and it is also the day in which summer begins.

Midsummer is known to be a traditionally important date in Algarve, as it is when the summer season officially begins, with all the fun it implies!. That is why the Olympium Resort wants to celebrate this day -and night- welcoming the summer with the first festival of the season!

The Summer Solstice Festival 2021 will be held on the 21st of June, and it will include music, drinks and food, photoshoots, amusement attractions, lots of cheers -that's for sure- and a special surprise. To participate in the summer festival, you will need to have booked your stay at the Olympium Resort for that night. However, if you really love summer festivals, you should know that the party will go on until the 23rd.
